sumner ive made that lil tool you posted and i must say it works great. Many thanks for your good work....
Sorry but I'm using Fusion 360 for my design work under the 'personal' license (free) vs. $500 a year if I was designing and selling prints. I'm also 78 and still have tons of things I'm trying to accomplish so not interest in starting a business again. That wouldn't stop someone else from printing the object using my files and either giving it away or selling it. Hopefully someone contacts you with that option. Also the wood one I showed is easy to make and also works fine. Sumner
I tried to order the Lunde Kellys Cafe and another factory from Trainz. They haven't shipped yet. Normally they ship quick. Bout to cancel that sumbitch.
Purchased 2 sets of Bachmann>Microtrains couplers and forgot that I did. Still need tools to properly assemble. Turned 47 today so I think that's why my memory is going. Oh boy.
Mail call today! First up is this Kato NS Maersk. I missed out on the original run so I called dibs on one when the second run announcement was made almost 2 years ago. First kato I've acquired in over 10 years and first factory DCC/Sound equipped loco from them. Nice updates to the shell from their 2000 SD40-2 release of which I have two. Illuminated number boards is a nice update as well as ditch lights. Problem is the ditch lights are not in the right place for this particular loco (deck instead of pilot mounted) but I plan to leave as is. I might put in my own lights though to get the flashing effect and operate them separate from the headlights. Lastly is some new to me articulating auto racks that came from Jim Reisling's collection. Not a bargain price-wise but my preferred roads. One of the UP cars came with a functioning EOT flasher truck so a little bonus there. Thanks for the tip Metra!
