Tupperville is on the Illinois side of the river, ain't it? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Yes, there is a pile of stuff under the layout, in the back room, and proto stuff all over outside, 'W' posts, 'J' posts fish plates spikes etc, etc!
 Seem's like I can't pass up a good 'find!'

But, while not 'hoarding,' I have made progress building short bents for the low trestle at the front of the scene.

    PIC_0779.JPG
And assembling this kit, going to be a saloon/general store at the lower bridge,

Did make up 7 more over the weekend, giving me 8 to install after a bit of trimming,

PIC_0782.JPG And a tiny bit of progress on the structure. It may become 'Glenn's Dive.' That is an interesting story in itself. There is rumored to have been a bar/general store/bordello at the confluence of what became Glendive Creek and the Yellowstone named Glenn's Dive! That would have been in the 1860-70 era before the town relocated a mile or so south to be along the tracks of the NP. Soooo, maybe.........

Nice job. You might consider attaching cross braces on the bents. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the thought. There will be some. Reference photo's in post #745 and 747, though it is hard to see. The end bents have their cross braces already, more to go.....

Got more bents in place and the bridge set so I can finish setting the bents to height.

I got my broken bents repaired but not installed yet. Distracted by work and such, so spending the few minutes I have the energy for working on Glenn's Dive. Pictures are worth more than words....

The front, with washing windows and loafers,
    PIC_0982.JPG
Made the back door a screen door,
    PIC_0983.JPG

Added some horse rails, (required by Montana law until the 1990's!) and some roofing material tonite, PIC_0984.JPG
Thinking of a way to make it look like the common green graveled roofpaper of the day, I do have a plan.....

Hard to believe it has been over a month since I have spent any time on the layout! Wow! Anyway, no progress on the bridges, but a bit done on the "Glenn's Dive" structure,
Just needed a bit of a foundation as it will be hanging out over the edge a bit,

I did get a bit more progress yesterday evening. Spent a quick bit of time building an outhouse for the "Dive," while waiting for the woodstove to get fired up again. And some basic coloring and such, more to come!

Why are the people sitting on the porch that faces a cliff?
Do they show movies on it?

A bit of progress on the river bed and trestle. Got to get that done to reinstall track and run trains as well as get the "Glenn's Dive" scene finished.
