Yes I did a quick writeup on how to install a decoder and sent it up to Rob when the SW1500's first came out. Hopefully it made the cut and will be in a future issue of Z-Track Magazine later this year. The shell is extremally difficult to get off with out damaging/destroying it. https://www.americanzline.com/docs/AZL-SW1500-Shell-Removal.pdf There are a few decoders that will fit but unfortunately they are not available at this time. The CT-elektronik DCX76z which has not been available for several years. And the Gen2 D&H Nano, which is supposed to be returning to stock soon David
