Unfortunately, Intermountain Railway Co is suffering from the 'China Syndrome' which has been around longer the Covid19. They have been cancelling or rescheduling production runs of almost everything in N Scale. I open their newsletter every month only to be disappointed.
I generally don't preorder any of their products from their website... opting instead for releases to be announced. If they don't get enough preorders then they cancel or reschedule that item.

Hope you can find one soon, the last time I saw it was about 20 years ago at a train show in Broken Arrow OK a suburb of Tulsa. I haven't been to a show for about 8 years so I can't tell you an update on a location. Some help I am.

I have an old Con Cor set with two Life Like E8s that I might be willing to part with. The locomotives are permanently coupled and share one DCC decoder. The headlights have been modified to look better than the stock Life Like ones. Kato couplers on everything. I usually run it at the Oklahoma City train show each December. This is an old shot and shows only one of the diesels. The lead diesel now has no front coupler and a closed pilot. I also have two new in box E8s with no modifications.

I still want an SP Mountain class with skyline casing and oil tender. Also, a good running SP 4-10-2 would be nice!

I’d like to update this now:

    1) FVM NS 8100 Gevo (NKP heritage)

    2) Metra 211-same as before.

    3) Metra 104 “City of Chicago” F40PH. I could attempt this myself with a Kato Metra F40PH donor and Fusion Scale decals or I might wait and see if Kato puts it out. Leaning towards the latter because it’s a really complicated paint job and really tiny decals.

Kato Frisco E8's to pull my Railsmith Frisco passenger train. Maybe with the recent release of KOBO Rock Island and Wabash E8's there might be hope.

Really hoping RAPIDO announces a CNR SW1200RS in n scale. I'd be up for two of those.

Tad, The Life-Like USRA style steel caboose is easy to lower. You need to convert the couplers to body mount. File the bolster down to lower the car. Fot The mounting pin hole on MTL trucks is not centered on the bolster. This allows the truck to be offset inwards. The steps may require a small piece to be filed off to allow the truck to swing.

Earlier in this thread I asked Tad if he had Taylor trucks for his AD&N caboose. Since I really wanted this truck for my Reading cabooses I decided to make one.

I've been waiting for someone to make an attainable set of Surfliner cars in N for darn near as long as the prototype cars have existed.

Rapido announced a little while back they will be doing a 73' NSC centerbeam and TTX being one of the roads with 6 numbers individually or as a set. Currently on the website they show as "in transit" so we should see those very soon.

This set's been available in Z-scale for years, runs great too! Hopefully Kato can produce it?

If we are talking about things that haven't been produced yet then I have an idea.

An anything but Bachmann, NO, NO!
    ! Perhaps a Kato 4-8-4 Santa Fe 2000 class.

As to what's in production. Waiting for an opportunity to pick up a Union Pacific Challenger, and then later a Big Boy. By Kato is preferred.
