I got home yesterday afternoon and can mirror George's comments. Great time. Getting on a plane to PA soon so I'll try and post some kind of recap later in the week.

Thanks to Everyone who helped put on this show! It was fun for us too! Looking forward to seeing everyone in Reno next year.

Our official photographers were driving back over this week. I will have the output from their efforts next week, and they will be up as soon as we can get them editied.

A few more grab shots from the large BendTrack, or FreMoN, or whatever this layout is actually called. This was a well-done sectional pike with a consistent rural theme. It was one of three room-filling pikes that the NRail folks coordinated.

Colleen took these photos with her iPhone along the large N-Trak layout. The lighting in this room was rather inconsistent and overall too dark so it was challenging to get much that didn't end up in the recycle bin.

Finally three from the T-Trak layout. I do believe that the Gateway Arch is modeled in N Scale!

At N scale, the 630' Gateway Arch would be just under 4' tall (measured from the grounds on the module). Hard to tell for sure from the photo, but it could be right. Amazing!

There was no height shown on the accompanying explanation, but it was noted that it was drawn using CAD software, broken into 26 sections, and then 3-D printed! Now THAT is pretty amazing.

Three more shots from the T-Trak layout. First one gives a sense of how small these modules can be. Yes, that was free 1:1 Scale candy available on the module to the right. I somehow managed to keep myself to just one piece. ztb10.jpg
This is not nearly a magazine quality shot but again illustrates what can be done in even a small space (but we knew that!)

If there's a Waffle House around, I'm going to find it. No word on what caused the accident; perhaps an overdose of Scattered Covered Hashbrowns...

I still haven't really gone through all the pictures I took but here are a couple I thought were cool.

The bridges and flow of this one just looked cool to me.

I think it is all the heavy equipment on this one that drew me in.

Two notable cars from the convention are the registration car that could be purchased when registering and of course the famous banquet car.

Here is a look at the registration car. I thought it came out nice. Has opening doors, silver trucks, couplers, and under frame. I'm a little iffy on silver freight car trucks but they look good on this car. Not pictured but a really nice touch is the insert has the registration number and attendees name printed on it.

Now for the banquet car. Fitting with the Tennessee setting for the convention, the theme of the car is Davey Crockett. Has a portrait of Mr. Crockett on one side and his trusty rifle "Old Betsy" on the other. Makes for a neat car to have in the collection. George Irwin posted in the More Ebay Humor thread that there is already one of these cars for sale on Ebay. I'm keeping mine.

There was also a special 5 car set available with a theme of famous guitars but I passed on that so no pictures. I was very cool though.
