    Rob,
Nice soldering work! The chalk really brings the details out.
That is a good looking consist and I enjoyed the short video.
    I agree with Joe.

    Rob,
I was just looking back thru your thread, what solder did you use for the piping and railing?
    Thanks,
    Scott

I always use paste flux on the wire and stanchion first, then I use regular 37/63 lead tin rosin core solder.

    Rob,
Hope you don't mind the questions.
What brand and type of paint is the Engine Black?
What type of tool do you use to form the handrails, I have a Xuron wire bender, but I am thinking of getting round nosed pliers.

    Thanks,
    Scott

I used Floquil Engine Black, but black is black, so any will do as long as it's not a dark gray like Grimy Black, also a Floquil color.

For the handrails I used round nose pliers. The ones I like are Stedi SS-603.

I took this loco in today for judging, and scored enough points to use towards my Master Modeler Motive Power. I also scored enough on the 2 other locos to finish my requirements for Motive Power. All that's left to do is stuff towards the Model Railroad Author certificate.

WTG! Love the result on this engine. You'd never know how far you'd gone with it without the commentary and photos from the before to after.

On a side note, I mistakenly bent an airbrush needle years ago while cleaning it. It wouldn't spray correctly, so I tried it as a center punch to mark holes for drilling. It works a treat...
