So I just finished a new paint scheme....one that has been on my "bucket list" for several years. I've always wanted to add the EMD Gp7 Demonstrators to my roster and now they're done. I custom made my Decals and this time around I decided to try Tru-Color Paint. I was really impressed with how well/easy this paint is to use - went on like a gem. They claim you can shoot it straight out of the bottle but I cut it per the TCP instructions. I also added some BLMA and scratch details to the Demonstrators. Next project on the books will be a CNW GP9 and then I'm looking into Santa Fe CF7's....I know this project has been "taken on" successfully before but they're too cool to not give it a shot. Very impressive work! That is as clean and crisp of a paint job and decal application as I have seen in Z!
Is it just me but I do not see the media files in this thread anywhere…? T Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Thanks for the kind replies. This was a challenging paint job to say the least, especially the skirts. I’m glad I can check these off the list.
