Good morning from sunny and warm Northeast, OH; just got back from Cardiac Rehab.

Here is what I got done this week:

First, an IMRC 10,000 Gallon Tank Car kit, with Yarmouth Models metal sill steps in place of the plastic ones. Car was painted with Scalecoat II Silver and Black Paints and lettered with a special set of decals I acquired from Andy Carlson. The Rio Grande Oil Co. was founded to supply the US Army's Mexico Incursion in 1917 and in the depths of the depression was acquired by the Richfield Oil Co. who wanted its California operations.

Next, a Branchline Express Reefer kit, painted with Scalecoat II Hunter Green paint and lettered with Microscale Decals. The Railway Express Company acquired several hundred new Express Reefers to replace the worn out wood cars after WWII. These were normally hauled at the head end of passenger trains as they were usually hauling extremely perishible fruit items that needed express service. They were also used to haul newspapers and magazines that had time limitations on them.

Rapido FP7A's and F7B with a passenger train on the Strongsville Club Layout.

    Thanks for looking!

A couple weekends ago I spent a few hours a train show featuring all European layouts in HO and N scales. Here are a few pics I got.

First one from the European Train Enthusiasts (ETE) HO scale layout.

    ETE1.jpg

From an N scale layout with a tram line that included surface and subway stations.

    Nscale1.jpg

And from the HO Scale Swiss narrow gauge layout.

Originating on @BNSF FAN 's JPT Sub and received on my Delaware, Susquehanna & Northern interchange track this afternoon is this CNJ N Scale caboose. My road is thrilled to have it, produced by Atlas six years ago and now very hard to find. On temporary assignment as a Purchasing Agent for the DS&N, @BNSF FAN discovered it at the National N Scale Convention in Nashville in June! (y):):D

After surviving the trip from Nashville and across the JPT Sub, it looks right at home on the Delaware, Susquehanna & Northern! Most excellent Hardcoaler! (y)(y)(y)

How about a little 3 rail action? UP Mikado 2499 slows to take a look at the weekend car show. I miss the size, weight and sound of my old O scale trains.

I was thumbing through the archive and found these 3 trucks that I made about 5 years ago. They are all 3D printed by some talented individuals. I sprayed them with rattle cans, made all the decals and then applied them. Hope you like them.

Here are the 2 vac trucks leaving Ewing Oil after unloading cracker catalyst.

Thank you all for the "likes", I really appreciate them. I have mentioned before that the Chevron Kenworth that you see above is a very exact clone of one that I drove back in the late 1960's - early 1970's, so it has a special meaning to me. This color scheme was Chevron's first breakaway from the red, white, blue they used to use. The Love's truck is just a scheme that I think is cool. The 2 vac trucks were just from my grey matter and "fun" projects.
I was asked, so I will bore you some more with more of my builds.

1st - another Chevron in the more modern paint scheme, I have no idea what they use today...

2nd - a couple of "just because" projects
    [IMG]

    3rd - my 1st 3D printed trailer, truck is a Route 66
    [IMG]

    4th - a group shot of a few
    [IMG]

A note to mention that no I do not 3D print these items, I purchase them as I am not smart enough to figure out the print system.

    Be safe, be well.
