I've got a section or two of Unitrack on my workbench that I use to check alignment and "look" of some of my locomotive shells and parts. One annoying thing is that the non-motorized things tend to roll off the end of my track. After putting up with sliding trains for way too long I decided to do something about it.

    I wanted this:
    trackBumper_prototype.jpg
    So design:
    trackBumper_design.jpg
    And print:
    trackBumper_printed.jpg

Now my stuff won't roll off the ends! o_O I haven't logged into my Thingiverse account since the data breech but if anyone wants a copy of the stl's I'll find a way to make it available.

    Cheers -Mike

Mike...this would be a perfect addition to the layout I'm working on. Can you post the STL, or send direct?

    Thanks,
    Dan

Mike you could put the STL into the Resources area, that is where others have posted STL files and other Resource files.
    Very nice bumpers

I've finally dusted off my Thingiverse account and have everything activated again. The STL is located here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5446472

It will fit over the rail, but since it was designed on taller rail there will be a gap between the rail and the upper portion of the bumper. So basically the bumper will sit a little high. You may be able to gently file down the bottom of the bumper to reduce the height of the mounting area.

    Cheers -Mike
