Almost nothing. Was just too worn out from long work shifts. Our work load has more than doubled. Management is trying to do the work of ten people, with only the original five. Really? Slept through my alarm Sunday evening, for over an hour! Yikes!!! Only got in a few minutes starting to assemble my car kit. I did get one non-model treasure. An unexpected source provided me with seven new train order locations, from the Minneapolis & St. Louis Railway! So got those scanned and safely into a sheet protected album. Wow. Almost finished updating my M&St.L web page. Won't be working the extra hours next weekend! Nope. No way. Not happening.
'BoscabE50' I went through that for 3 year in the '80s under Ronald's rules. Today I'm just confused about how to PayPal or Venmo a seller for trains.
Nothing great happens. Helix No. 2 is now finally adjusted. This sets the heights for both levels. For further construction I will invest in a laser. My wife will be happy again. But there is no time for sentimentality.
I've received two engines and three boxcars I ordered off Swap Meet yesterday. And the track is on the way along with other items. So instead of just dreaming, it's on the way again.
Since the State flower of Ohio is the Carnation, and since Alliance, Ohio is where the carnation was first heavily promoted and cultivated, we are known as the Carnation city and our annual festival, Carnation Days, was ongoing all week but culminated this weekend. Wednesday, was the start of Carnation Days in the Park, wherein the park is filled with charitable organizations selling food and beverages, games, live music, dunk tanks, bouncy house, and so on (much like the county fair without rides or animals). So, both Wednesday and Thursday evenings my wife and I worked in our church's booth selling 1/3 sirloin burgers and hot dogs. Friday, Natasha (our German Shepherd) and got our morning run in, then didn't do much else besides a few household chores. I did get one box of scrap metal sorted in preparation for a trip to the scrap yard. Saturday, I had a funeral all morning, and then we went back to our church booth in the Park until after the ending fireworks at 9:30 pm. i Sunday was church, then train club and some bookkeeping, then back to church for an Eagle Court of Honor with our scout troop, dinner, and then home. So, other than doing some math and talking with the folks at the Sebring Model Railroad Club, not much was done hobbywise. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
