    Pawel,
Nice looking locos! Gianfranco did a great job modeling and growing them.
Did he model the pantographs as well?

Pantographs are from Gianfranco. They are also 3D printed.

It is time to start to work with ET41 models. It starts with painting. They are really fragile ... I decided to dismantle pantographs as much as possible prior to main painting job:

First - base layer of paint was applied:

    Main colour applied:

    Both parts of the loco:

    Roof painted:

I used can spray paint (mainly Tamiya). decals are in design phase now. Some details of the shell will be hand painted.

2 mechanisms from BR218 were used. With standard Marklin couplings the gap is too big:

I made some modifications and I think it is OK:

The close coupling mod is better looking. Marklin couplers leave so much gap between cars.

I had a chance to try some rolling stock prepared some years ago. Technical train:

I decided to upgrade it byadding "end of the train" signals:

I had some photoetched parts in the "scrap-box". I have no idea what was initial idea for those small squares. They vere hand painted and glued using gel type of CA.

and started to work on additional car for technical train. I rebuild a second hand container from scrap box:

This time my "factory" turned into city bus production.
I got several Ikarus 260 buses from Shapeways. Prototypes were build in Hungary and widely used in Eastern Europe. They were in use in Poland as well.
Those used in my home town of Poznań were painted green and yellow - very attractive paint scheme in my opinion..

    Prototypes:

    During painting:

    IMG_2885.jpg

I used some separation lines from decals to make black lines on the body. I think it makes the model more realistic and attractive:

Getting close to final result with window glazing and interior including passangers:
