Good morning from sunny and mild Northeast Ohio!

Managed to finish up a couple of cars this week.

First up is an old AHM PS Covered Hopper, where I removed a lot of the cast on parts and replaced them with new ladders and wire replacements along with a Plano Roofwalk, airline slung under the sill and A-line Sill steps. Car was painted with Scalecoat II MofW Gray Paint and lettered with Mask Island Decals. Could not find out what the cars were used for and car was done per a Mont Switzer article in Mainline Modeler.

Next is an IMRC R70-20 Mechanical Reefer kit, painted with Scalecoat II White and Black Paints then lettered with Microscale Decals. After the breakup of PFE the SP painted their cars white from the previous orange. The only differing item in the paint scheme was that the logo was in different colors (this one is purple).

A pair of Athearn SD-45's with a general freight headed by a pair of R70-20 Reefers at the Strongsville Club layout which will be open on Saturday for the Historical Society Harvest Festival.

    Thanks for looking!

First up a couple HO scale, Atlas Frisco cement cars I painted, decaled, "modernized" weathered up and re-stenciled a bit.

Next up is a couple, old Athearn 57' mech reefer kits, I decorated up for my Proto lance QA&P's refrigerated service being initiated. Some Micro-scale, and some of my own decals make up this graphic heavy model, based on some BN "temp lok" prototype images. The 100 is now 1004 I have several of these in service with a couple more in the works. I like to models but its a lot of decal work.

Working on this very simple building model. It has good potential to be part of a larger complex....
And the Cameros parked in front, they remind me of an old GM commercial....

My freshly-weathered (now there's an oxymoron) PFE reefer on the AMROC club layout. I think this is the first time I've ever seen my handiwork amidst proper scenery.

That looks really cool. Any more photos? I like how clean and such it is. But that's just me :)

Thanks for your comments. Here is a shot of 16 of my modules that are all at different stages of being completed. Most of the modules are single track mainline but the track and module meet T-trak standards so that my modules with dual mainlines could be put into a T-trak layout. I think I should call it 1-trak.

Nice. I plan to build similar to yours. I was told not to put it on folding tables but that is what you appear to do. Do you have any issues.
At this place I can use stackable shelving which is far more stable.

This is set up on two 30" x 6' folding tables placed end to end. I have had no problems with set up or running of trains. These tables fold in half for storage, great for saving space or transporting. Screenshot_20220926-144332_DuckDuckGo.jpg

    Those folding tables are great.

I used two 2'x5' tables as bases for the two 4'x6' halves of my layout. Everything is bolted onto those tables.

That way it may not be modular, but more importantly movable.
