Welcome back to the gateway to the weekend. Looks like plenty of you had a busy weekend last weekend, let's see what everyone is planning for this weekend.

Saturday: I spent time loading my small box trailer last night with model RC items that I will never have time to work on. Rather than allow them to be continually moved and broken, I've decided to sell and give most of them away. Work keeps me busy, and any free time is spent on either model railroad projects or cars and motorcycles. There is an RC swap meet this Saturday and the plan is to come back with an empty trailer. Later, the wife has planned a Trivia night for some friends.

Sunday: I will first sleep in, then make coffee. It will be cold, but I may try to get the skyboard cut and mounted on the layout. I found some blue shades of paint that I feel better represent that hazy mid-summer afternoon, I just need to go to the big box store and have them mix it up. The Mrs. and I will also stock up on Hickory wood as I plan to smoke the turkey this year for Thanksgiving, and we'll likely start the beginning of gathering Christmas items. Any other time may find me relaxing and sorting my train room.

So how about you? What do you have planned for the weekend? Let us know. We'll assemble again on Monday the 21st to see how we all did. Until then, have a great weekend, be safe, stay healthy and as always...

It's a balmy 28 degrees here on the north side of the A T L to kick off the weekend. Regular workday for Friday, Saturday we are making a day trip to visit one of the colleges my son has been accepted to. Maybe I'll spot a train along the way. The wife has a couple of things planned but I'm hoping to find some time to install some metal wheelsets on a few cars.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

A few chores need to get done and my oldest has a volleyball game. But I’m going to try to and finish up weathering some well cars and containers and/or finish the decals for the Dash 8s I started earlier this month.

Made it through another week - Happy Friday to Y'all

Looks like another no MRRing weekend, for me.
Our balcony repair should be complete. Saturday: Caulk the seams and fill any and all holes dents and what ever -- in other words -- prep for paint.
    Sunday - paint.

Who know, perhaps Sunday afternoon I may get in some MRRing.

    Y'all have a great weekend,
    Wolf

Happy Friday to everyone. Like SP-Wolf, this weekend will be similar to last weekend.

The big "honey-do" this weekend will be getting started on the Christmas decorations. Our annual family reunion Christmas party at our house has been moved up a weekend to December 10th. The Mrs. does all the cooking and I do all the decorating. So I have to whip this place into shape before the 10th.

There WILL STILL be some modeling going on. Whatever I can do modeling-wise between putting out Santa's, getting lights in the windows, etc., will happen. We'll find out Monday.

Have a great and peaceful weekend all.

Good morning from cloudy, cold and windy Northeast Ohio.

Sitting in the waiting room while my wife undergoes Occupational Therapy for her wrist and hand. After the MRI found she has two non displaced fractures in her hand and tendon damage. After this is done to the rec center to keep up with the cardiac rehab excercises. May get some modeling and decaling done before bowling this evening.

Saturday, we have our monthly train club meeting followed by an operating session, probably watch a movie in the evening.

Sunday, finish up some kits and do some painting so I have more decaling to do.

Saturday after grocery shopping for Turkey Day, I need to replace the light switch that is behind my backdrop with an Alexa powered voice activated dimmer. Then I need to trim and clean up my mediocre at best back drop installation with L Shaped auto fender trim and build a cover plate for the previously mentioned switch.

Sunday - Go to Lowes and get the Lumber and foam to build my three tables on Friday!

    Good morning all,

I will be pressing on toward finishing the upper helix on my layout. Need to finish and paint the last few pieces and install those.

Inspired by Rick's weekly reports on his HO freight car work, I am going to start work on a pair of N scale RailGon gondolas. I had picked up a couple of Atlas gondolas at a recent open house and found some decals on ebay. Also recently picked up some scalecoat paint remover and dullcoat at my local hobby shop. I will check my paints to see if I have the right colors or if I need to order some.

Wishing you all a great weekend whatever you are doing.

This morning the temperature here was one BELOW zero. With the slight breeze, wind chill was minus five. Perfect weather for an indoor hobby!

Hurray!! I finally found ALL of the N scale items I have been wanting to find, for many weeks now. You are correct, they were carefully filed, but in the wrong place... (Why? How did I manage....) This week I painted my HOn30 log cars. The trucks I want to use are out of stock right now. RATS. Maybe I will get them lettered and at least have that done. Thinking about starting to build the engine house for my HOn30 layout. Also have a loading dock for the same, which is sitting there, staring at me.... Stay tuned for the further adventures of....

As usual, today, Friday, will be dedicated to homework, plus some training at church on our brand new sound system, and probably a trip to a local university that has a book I need for my upcoming research paper.
Saturday, will find me spending some time at the train club open house, but also homework, and doing whatever it takes to keep my lady happy for her birthday.
Sunday, will be church and the conclusion of the Sebring Model Railroad Club open house... and maybe some more homework.

I started working on my LifeLike fire house. Got much of it done, but I was starting to get frustrated so I put it aside. Maybe tomorrow I'll glue the walls onto the base, put the roof on, add assorted details, put the flag on the flagpole, blah blah blah...

    Hmm... Kiz is lying. He
    just opened the box...

Again kits to do and not enough time to do it.

Thursday I was able to work on my deferred stack of kits. Four done and more to go.

Saturday is NMRA division meeting. I also will be starting a scratch build project needing done.

    Sunday more of the same

Received some no-longer-made N Scale Kato highway crossings from some helpful TrainBoard members and hope to install them today. Will need to custom cut a 74mm straight in one location. Then it's back to building a foam mountain on the right side of the layout.

Also trying to repair a semi-rotted wood lattice panel, one of eight I made long ago to keep leaves from blowing in under the back deck. With lumber so expensive these days, I hope to repair it instead of replacing it.

Can you please send me a link to the dimmer that you are installing, I have a couple that need similar treatment!

I dont think im going to get much done on the digital Model Rail Road -- I spent the day yesterday train watching in Fostoria and Bellvue Ohio -- had a good time. Today, I have a database project that I am currently fascinated by -- so im likely to spend whatever time I have free working on that -- Church today as well and watching football
