Anyone lucky enough to get one of these Trainworx Kenworth tractors with pneumatic bulk trailers? Im not sure if this is a new release from them or not, but I just happened to be browsing the Trainworx website looking for some parts and stumbled across 6 of these trucks in stock! Bought all 6 on Monday night, got them today! Always appreciate the fast shipping from them! They are labeled as part of a "Legends of the Road" series, this one being "Toads Pad". I have no idea what that is, but these are lettered for Tri-State Commodities. Just like any of Trainworx other vehicles, these are exceptionally beautifully detailed models! They had another with a covered grain trailer that I was going to get as well, but I didnt purchase them at the same time and went back the next day and they were sold out. Here are some photos of the pneumatic bulk trucks. They are going to make some great additions to the layout, and now I find myself wanting to add a model of a cement plant to my modules!
Trainworx makes great models, but I don't have any of their trucks. I have some rolling stock, and it is beautifully done.

If you have the opportunity to pick some of their trucks up at a reasonable price, I would highly recommend them. Hopefully they get their manufacturing issues sorted out in 2023 and are able to release some more long awaited and badly needed trucks for us in N scale
If you bought six, next year you could sell five on eBay and finance a non-trivial chunk of your layout (ducking)...
I just got a notification/invoice for a preorder I put in for the Toad's pad set. I think I put a reservation on one over 3 years ago and have since completely forgot about it. Re-energized now that it is finally getting released. Can't wait for their Yellow day cab kits to be released as I've got a couple reserved of those as well. Denali, thanks for posting those pics. Looks to be another very well done truck and trailer by trainworx. I'm sure many do just that as the premium after they are sold out is pretty significant. Already there are a couple of listings on fleabay for these two recent releases ~$150.
Yeah I am sure you are right about that lol. I dont have any intentions of doing that though, these trucks are too cool to let go. LOL well these will certainly be a nice surprise for such a long wait. I am really looking forward to their releases of all the LTL carrier trucks and trailers. I plan to spend an arm and a leg to try and get at least one of each truck and trailer for my personal collection. Unfortunately I was not doing N scale when the initial pre-order announcements were made to lock in my orders, so I have to play the game and hope I can get some good timing and catch some places while they are still available when released Ive also been watching a couple of the ones on fleabay for the last couple days, one seller had them listed for $199.95 each! Then lowered them to $149.95 each. Another has them for $185. That seller sent me an offer of $165 because he saw I had them in my watch list, made me laugh, as that price is still $100 over the MSRP I paid for them directly from Trainworx just days ago.
If anyone wants these trucks still, The Western Depot has a couple left as well as 1 of the Grain Trucks for a fair price! I just got a couple of the grain trucks myself. Grab them while you can if you want them!
I got my Toads pad the other day which did not disappoint. Was regretting I didn't get the other "american grafitti" just to have both types. Came across an email sent by trainworx this morning stating they offered up some more for sale of both types that were not claimed from pre-orders. Already gone... gah!
Hi SecretWeapon, I never owned my own truck, but I did pull bulk tankers hauling cement for Schwerman Trucking out of Neville Island, PA. That is a nice looking KW double bunk you had, back in the day we'd call it "A Large Car"
