Hi, all. I have completed my 12" x 6" Trailer Park mini-module. I was tempted to go with the usual "trailer park trash" theme but settled on a more serene trailer park life-style. In Stony Brook Glade, Trailer Park and Campground, nobody litters or writes on things, everyone flies the same flag and everyone gets along. No drugs. No booze. No violence. Here you have it all: morning paper, mailbox and phone booth on the village green. Benches are on order. All of the trees are made from the astilbe plant and scenic express leaves. I have not added water to the Stony Brook yet. I would like to add a few street lights to go along with the two lights mounted in the car port and blue teardrop trailer. I was able to use many things I've collected over the years on this module. Cafe tables from Shire Scenes. Bicycles and motorcycles from Artitec. Jet Stream trailers from Make My Model. I have some small things to wrap up. The right edge will have static grass fields. I am also adding several utility poles. Small details such as bbq grills, mailboxes, etc...are on the way from Shapeways and that will complete this module for good. I finished it in about one years time. A record for me, of sorts. Happy New Year. Jim

Great scene! The tents are fantastic! You truly got the camp down right. So well done!

    Jim,
Excellent! Lots of nice details! I like the awnings and the tents as well.
I'll need to try my hand at making astilbe trees since we have it growing around the house.

Thank you, Scott. The awnings are from Sean Brennan in Canada. He makes paper kits. The tents are from Outland Models in China. I accidentally discovered astilbe when I was doing fall clean up. The dried flowerheads are nicely tree-shaped. There are two varieties of them. Have fun. I used scenic express leaves. It is a great product. Jim

I always wanted to do a trailer park with MMM trailer homes. Just never had a scene where I could use it.

I was not aware that MMM made other trailers. BTW that is one sweet looking pick-up. Great paint. Jim

Robert, your stuff is always top shelf.
I missed manufacturers like MMM and MK4D.

Excellent scene. The mobile home park looks right at home in the oddly-shaped real estate. Is that the Miller Drive-in kit? I missed the boat on getting one. Funny, I still have the original literature from when it was offered. The price was just too steep and my commitment to Z scale was not quite there yet. Great work. Jim

I wanted a drive in so I made my own. You can do it super cheap these days, since small video comes in a used Android tablet from the thrift shop.

That is an awesome trailer park. They look like they are made of paper? Fantastic weathering
And it is a fantastic trailer park. Nicely done. Are some of them made of paper? If so, very convincing weathering and detailing. Thanks for sharing it. I may borrow the circular tree bench. I'm happy to see other trailer park builds. Lots of great ideas. Jim

Great atmosphere, Jim. Reminds me of a campground in Moab I once camped at.

Thanks, Matt. I like the thought that it reminds you of an actual place. It's just my imagination. My wife said she thought it looked like a place you'd like to walk into. Jim
