I bought the 'Badboy Bikers' who stopped into 'Mikes Bikes' on their way through town... Also bought The BBQ set and the picnic tables set. One picnic table is in 'THE Railroad Park' down by 'Robbies Burgers and Dogs'. The other picnic table is in the backyard at grandmas house at 'J&J Horse Ranch' where there is a BBQ going on. .
Just a small haul this weekend. I got my Kato ALC-42 Charger, this is one of three I currently have planned for purchase. While I was at PnP I found a couple cars that I needed to ass to my freight inventory. I know Halloween aka Dia de los meurtes was a few months ago and I thought I missed it, but PnP still had a couple on the shelf. While I wasn’t a sailor when this ship served, I’m still a sailor so I just had to pick up a bit of naval history. Another car I thought I missed, but I found one so here it is.
These Athearn cabeese really are some gorgeous models! Technically this caboose is a C-50-9, one of the last cabooses SP ever received, and about 5 years too new for my layout. But considering how hard it is to find any SP caboose, I'll take it.
Finally got a couple of code 55 left hand turnouts I ordered awhile back waiting on my code 55 right hand turnouts So I can start working on my module that will have my grain elevator and a few other buildings And an MTL business car also ordered awhile back that'll be going into my roads colors Glad they finally arrived plus refound my n scale mail jeeps
Rapido NJ Transit comet cars. I regretted not pre ordering theses and did not get my hands on them when they were released. Saw a set on eBay and snatched them up. They also came with an ALP-45. But I'm not sure if I'm going to keep that. I already have the GP-40 that I want to run the coaches with to model the Atlantic City line.
I got some new wheels! This is my first Atlas locomotive in N scale, as well as my first GP unit. I need more! I also need to clean the wheels, but that’s true for a few of my engines.
A couple things from one of my favorite LHS came in today. Atlas tank car-it’s the ADMX Kung Fu graffiti one, but took a photo of the opposite side since you don’t see that side online much A couple of Athearn wedge trailers And an Athearn reefer with sound for one of my daughter’s birthday coming up. She loves strawberries and really likes locomotives with sound so I thought this would be neat to include in the mixed freight train she’s acquiring. Gave it a test run tonight-sounds pretty good, maybe a little loud? Never seen/heard the prototype. There is a screw fitting on the underside to adjust volume. Runs on DCC and DC. but volume can’t be adjusted by programming. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I preordered my latest purchase. This one is comical, I love Micro Trains. It’s a certain “weather balloon” that was recently in the news around North Carolina on a flat car. PnP trains is taking preorders. I just couldn’t resist.
