Matt, WOW! Great work on your part both discovering this supplier, and in regards to the way you finished this kit. The color choice, the weathering, the faded paint here and there and the exposed brick - everything is spot on. I just checked out his website and you know I had seen some of his stuff advertised on eBay a while back. These are some nice kits if you’re doing a western or late 1800’s to early 1900’s themed layout. Lance
Thought I would share my latest building which is a four story library. Finished with all the painting, windows, and room details. Robert was kind enough to raster the book shelves for me. It took an afternoon to paint all the books to make it look convincing! Last step yet to do, is to wire and light each floor, and make a sign.
As a young lad, I checked out “Train Stories For Kids” in 1971 from this “very same” library, and I never turned it back in. Just found it in my attic. Will you send me to jail if I try and turn it back in now, or can I pay my fine in Z-bucks????? Very cool. Curious what a side view will look like through the windows? Will certainly need to be lighted.
I’m finished with my downtown, with the Library being the last one completed. Today I wired inside the building and made a decal for the Library sign. Also wired the layout with power to the new building. Took a side shot, front shot and how the layout blends with my other buildings!
Wow! Those books really show better than I thought they would through those small windows. Very well done Clyde!
You are quite right, that you can actually see the book shelves through the small windows! I’m pleased how it came out! For those who need to borrow or return your books, make sure you have a good set of small tweezers to handle those Z scale books! LOL
What's on my workbench pales in comparison to what I'm seeing in this thread! I've been doing a number of 3D printing projects as well as some custom painting. Below is a CNJ 40' PS-1 that I completed recently as well as a positionable crossing gate. \

Steve, Nice to see someone else doing CNJ in Z. Nice paint work on the boxcar and gate! Is the PS-1 a grown piece or manufactured? I am still learning what was/is available from Z scale manufacturers. Nice 3D model work on the gate! Scott NOTE: Just found out from your post on the AZL site that the P-1 is off the shelf.
The PS1 is an MTL that I stripped and painted. The decals are my artwork, printed by Circus City Decals. Thanks. Steve W
I discovered these kits too! The "hacienda" is a unique building and fits very well into my hispanic part of Marfa/Tx on my "West Texas Project". The church, the hacienda and the three buildings on the other side of the small park are from this austrian manufacturer. I added some roof details to make the whole scene more interesting.
Wow! Your layout came out really really well. It has a really nice Hispanic theme to it, I call that success!
