Ha ha, indeed! They are great little runners with the one drawback is they are a little dicey over frogs but I think I have a fix for that.

My latest purchase to satisfy my addiction, A Makers Mark box car! Just kidding

    EN50714-3 ExactRail N Scale Trinity 6275 Boxcar, TTX/FBOX/New Logo Patch / 504448
    EN50714-4 ExactRail N Scale Trinity 6275 Boxcar, TTX/FBOX/New Logo Patch / 504553
    EN50714-5 ExactRail N Scale Trinity 6275 Boxcar, TTX/FBOX/New Logo Patch / 504556
    EN50714-6 ExactRail N Scale Trinity 6275 Boxcar, TTX/FBOX/New Logo Patch / 504584
    EN50714-7 ExactRail N Scale Trinity 6275 Boxcar, TTX/FBOX/New Logo Patch / 504611
    EN50714-8 ExactRail N Scale Trinity 6275 Boxcar, TTX/FBOX/New Logo Patch / 504645
    EN50714-9 ExactRail N Scale Trinity 6275 Boxcar, TTX/FBOX/New Logo Patch / 504672
    EN50714-10 ExactRail N Scale Trinity 6275 Boxcar, TTX/FBOX/New Logo Patch / 504699
    EN50714-11 ExactRail N Scale Trinity 6275 Boxcar, TTX/FBOX/New Logo Patch / 504755
    EN50714-12 ExactRail N Scale Trinity 6275 Boxcar, TTX/FBOX/New Logo Patch / 504796

I really liked the Exact Rail cars, glad they found a new home at Scale Trains, they seem dedicated for more runs. They are releasing new FVM locomotives with new roads and numbers too. Not quite as expensive as the Sale Trains Rivet Counters, but better than Atlas and Kato.

As a side note, the best decoder for the Fox Valley locomotives is the Zimo MX621N. My reason for saying that is because they are the only locomotives, with that Zimo decoder, I have been able speed match and delay using Acceleration Trim and Deceleration Trim. I have shared that on the DCC threads before. Or contact me and I can explain it to you. (FYI I am not an agent or employee of Zimo.)

No more locomotives until I liquidate some of these locomotives that need decoders, this does not include locomotives where the installed decoder has failed. In most cases that was from a bad batch of TCS decoders, and when I pull them they will be replaced at no charge. The ones with failed Digitrax decoders will be upgraded to either Zimo or ESU decoders.

Wasn't that what was on the sign on a photo, back in the day when a certain Locomotive Works out of Brooklyn (actually, New Jersey) still issued printed communications?

This is a follow-up to a post I made here a couple of weeks ago about the shop vac exhaust port I installed in a window. The caps I ordered arrived and they are a perfect fit. For anyone interested, they're made by Prescott Plastics in the U.S. the diameter is 2.25". Amazon link below. For a standard 2.5" shop vac hose, the connector should be 2.25", but I could not find anything available that's made to cover the connector (for keeping bugs and rodents out), so I hunted these down, myself. $10 for a 4-pack, they work great.

Some more All Scales Miniatures goodies. A pickup truck across the bed toolbox (already painted silver), 2 outhouses for my park, a firepit ring, park bench, satellite tv dish (complaints from down on the farm about not being able to get cable) and some milk cans. I think I'm starting to become addicted to these people's details. And BNSF Fan, that is a really nice car, I remember seeing a lot of those on CSX. I think running blocks of cars large or small in your trains really looks prototyical.

Lol I've been thinking abt that possibility, I'm bad about forgetting stuff like that. I'll have to put a piece of tape near the switch with a reminder message.

Attach a string to the cap and plywood. Should you forget and it goes pop at least you can find it and not look all over to find where it went.

The installer I had for the Sound Decoders, just bailed out on me.
Seems like a game here, told me to get the decoders with the proper sound file I wanted. Did all that and poof!

Hehe. Actually not a bad idea for the vacuum. Looks better than a piece of tape.
