If the hoses locked onto that, that would be ideal. These are the type items I'd never be able to find because I don't even know what it's called.

DAMN!!! That's an awesome layout scene!!!

The texture on the wall in the background, and even on the concrete, is incredibly realistic!

I can almost read the print on the window sticker!

Bought two spools of 22 gauge solid hook up wire from Amazon. One red the other black to match the main buss wiring. This color coding will make connecting to the buss so much easier and allow use of suitcase connectors which were originally designed for use with solid wire.

My source if interested. The Zip Cord is very flexible and they have solid hook up wire.

I bought these a couple weeks ago, but I have been too busy fixing everyone’s stuff to get a chance to work on my own. This is the Micro-Trains Blue Comet 5 car set.

Now I just need a good looking engine to pull it for my excursion services at a show!

Mine is a BLI 2-8-8-2, but after buying it I’ve reconsidered so I’ll be selling it. I also do O scale 3-rail, and it’s mainly steam power, but I think in N scale I’m going to stick with diesels…

This company (Miniature industries) makes models to order so I wanted to try one for my industrial layout. Looks like they are 3D resin printed and the detail is very good. A little wing-wow to the smaller parts like the railings but if you are not too picky they look just fine. They have other models some quite impressive both in looks and price but pretty cool if one is looking for hopper - dry storage industrial stuff.

Another loco (SNCF styled pacific from Trix) for my Euro collection.

Not directly train related, more like train show related. A few months ago I built a command station out of a Dewalt Tough System 2.0 tool box, it works great and I really like how everything turned out with it. Well since show season is upon us, and I have been very disorganized for the most part, I wanted to change that. So now I have more of the Tough System 2.0 pieces. And best of all the bottom box holds my largest Kato box set easily.

Here is the whole stack. The very top is the command station, next is another small box which has all my cables for the modules and other misc wiring goodies, the middle box will be tools/solder station, extension cords, stuff like that if needed, and the bottom box is my trains and structures.
    IMG_5440.jpeg

This all was handled by a large tote, 2 or 3 small totes, a wooden basket, solder station by itself and extension cord by itself in the past.

Here is the Kato set inside the box, with room to spare.
