This will be my last build for a while, "the well's gone dry". I just started modifying the shell and ordered Microscale decals. Here are some in progress images from today's work.

This is going to be a nice project! I have a blue box U33B stashed away in a box somewhere. This makes me want to pull it out and get to work on it.

Thanks, I am looking at an Alco RS-2 in HO also.I use to see NYC then later Penn Central at the junction my grandfather retired from in 1959 in western MA. There was also a NHRR line that came up from CT and ran through my area so I will also consider doing a NHRR scheme.

I have the paint, decals and rails started. I ordered the snow plow for the front only as the pictures I have show no snow plow on the rear.

I have the rails on the front and rear pilot put together but not glued to the body. I locate the stanchions on the rail then locate the rail to the body. After it is all lined up I super glue the stanchions to the top rail, when that is dried I remove the rail from the body and paint it. When the rail unit is dry I re assemble it to the holes in the car body and super glue the painted unit to the car body. That's just my way of doing it which works best for me. Picture below shows the stanchions being super glued with a tooth pick to the top rail in location to the body just before paint.

The rails are all complete, waiting for the snow plow I ordered to arrive so I can finish.

Thanks, all done. I have one more I want to do,a CN rail black with red nose. Something along the lines of an SD40,50,60 or 70. Whatever I can find un- powered in HO scale.
