That's a nice ride! And four guys on service! Wow! At least those guys deserve their tip. Check out the sign that says "Win a Cadillac". In those years, they weren't land yachts, they were armored battleships!
You can have the Caddy. I preferred the Buicks. '58, '57, '61 and '63 before the draft and VietNam. My exwife was born and raised to 12 years old in Germany, so loved VW Beatles. So that's what I switched to for awhile after service. But never cared for Caddies.
The only Cadillac I owned was a 1988 Eldorado. Not happy with it. Small, cramped, and fragile. The next three cars were Crown Victorias ('92, '97 and '07). But a nice big classic Caddy from the early 1950s would be a nice ride to go out cruising the Main on a warm summer evening. Or showing up at work with it and taking up four parking spaces...
I would like to see the Cadillac from Johnny Cash song One Piece at a Time. Has anybody try building one.
That is so cool! Though I'm surprised there's no visible duct tape.... The video: Completely crazy car. I love it. That could probably be 3D printed.
This is God's Country Don't Light it on Fire and (this line is uncertain but fits) Make It Look Like Hell Nice.
According to an article I found, it says: “This is God’s Country. Don’t set it on fire and Make it Look Like Hell.” Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
I have seen that picture recently. But, just don't remember where. And the guy near the pumps appears to be the local law man. Is he checking it out?
