I ordered several years back from PWRS to get that car but as of yet it has not been released. I did eventually model my own using an Intermountain grainer kit but the font is slightly different (bolder) than the 14 or so cars I currently have from PWRS so hoping the one I ordered will come out soon. That's not any worse than the pocket notebooks, calendars, etc. with very skimpily clad, voluptuous young ladies showing off giant Rigid pipe wrenches, etc., that my dad (a chemical engineer) got as freebies from suppliers back in the day. But that was a different era than now. Probably for the better, cuz I wouldn't want my great nephews and nieces, nor future grandkids to see it either.
Buildings, lots of buildings, both paper and 3d-printed. I found the 3d printed buildings online for a steal. Sent from my Pixel 8 using Tapatalk
I saw the prototype posted but failed to mark the spot so I apologize for not being able to give credit where due to who posted it. Anyway, when I saw it I thought it would look good and decided to give it a try. My first one came out okay but need to shorten the spacing between lines in the wrap, and get another rust pen to do the edges better. The prototype... Before..... After...
The only time I've seen those kinds of cars and loads it seemed to be in England. But you don't have the right couplers for that.
Here is my first circuit board that is going to be available when I open my company. This is a DC/DCC control switch that will allow you to switch between the 2 modes without changing the wiring. I will also be offering faceplates to designate Program and Main so it can be used as a program track control switch as well. Maybe just have the faceplates printed on the reverse side with the prog/main indicators so I only have to create one item for both jobs. The power supply is just a Digitrax PS14 but any similar power supply will work (they may be offered for sale soon). The switch will work just fine without the power supply, you will simply not get the indicator light. If any of you are interested in buying one (or more) of these send me a message. I am also making ballast spreaders (see below). In DC mode a red LED illuminates. In DCC mode a blue LED illuminates. And the ballast spreader for N scale. Right now I am printing them in many colors as I am using up my old filament so I have room to stock the main color I plan on using.
Thanks. I am going to be offering other 3D printed things like tunnel portals, sidewalks, and a few other goodies. I have been working on the stuff in preparation for starting.
