They look very nice. Good color and everything. How long does it take to make, say 10? Can you only get the material in the fall? Any glycerine reqired? Nice job.
Thanks Guys. Not long, just drying time adds up. Pick, Hairspray, Dry, Prune, Spray Paint, Dry... Prune more, Paint stem and branches, Dry... Spray glue mix, Sprinkle ground foam, Dry... The goldenrod outside is toast for this year. What's the glycerine for? Here are some picked ones. Here are a couple more photos. Thanks, Loco1999
Nice job on those. I think tree making is one of the more pleasant tasks in model railroading. It's very relaxing. Poeple use glycerin as a preservative.I never use it I just spray paint my trunks and go from there.
Nice job. I am still on track. Did you steal my Missouri Pacific 2-8-0 #92. I should have one just like it.
Loco1999: Those trees look sooo realistic.... I'm going to work on the goldenrod that dropped in from Illinois shortly.... I'm at the pruning stage... Stay cool and run steam..
Loco1999,I have to say those are some really nice looking trees and will be waiting for that how to ,to show up,thanks for sharing Pat
