Hey you Alco-holics, check THIS out! C424/C425s in HO scale from Atlas Sorry, all four-axle (no C636s yet, Matt ). Wonder why they didn't do a Green Bay & Western......don't matter, they have undecs, so paint & decals should solve that.
It's been a while since anyone has released an engine lettered for the Spokane, Portland & Seattle. I may have to order one of those (after I find a way to pay for my Athearn Genesis SP&S F3s from Whistle Stop Trains in Portland. Ouch! My wallet is taking quite a hit! Pat
Did Atlas previously do SP&S? Or was it BN? If they did a previous release, you could have four loco numbers......? Boxcab E50
Atlas haven't released the current (retooled) version of the Century 424 in SP&S, but they did do that scheme on the old run of them a few years back. BN was included in the first run of the retooled model, so you could maybe patch these and have four BN units? I fancy getting one to patch actually. I have a bunch of patched early BN stuff that it could run with.
Atlas did the C425 in a single number (SP&S 315) in the original run, but has never done the C424 in SP&S. I'm looking forward to getting a pair sooner or later!
