Does anyone know where I might find samples of railroad-related advertisements from the early 20th century? That's the era that I will be modeling and I would like to use the ads for inspiration in revamping my website. Thanks!
A low cost method would be to check out the microfilm at your local library. Old newspapers often had railroad advertisements and train schedules. Old railroad employees magazines, menus and public relations items are good sources but may be harder to come by.
In the back of my mind, I have the thought that somewhere on the web, I've seen a site dedicated to RR advertising. You might try a Google search, and see if anything turns up. Boxcab E50
