Yes another week has flew by, will we get anything done this weekend! I'm still working on the C&BT box I started last weekend, screws weren't self tapping and stripped out the holes for the trucks, so I had to plug, drill and tap. Have the engines I stripped last week to prep up. Have lots of cars to build. Must try to run trains Have a great weekend
I'm working on one of these in OO scale: It's a resin kit, so far it's up and running (sort of) but needs more electrical pickups and I want to try and add a small flywheel to the underfloor motor (very coggy at the moment). I've also got to work out how to do the decals on the top of each window! I also have a P2K Santa Fe SD45 that I want to get looking good. Not sure how much of this will get done, but it's on the list!
Let's see. I would like to finish the two cabooses (Chessie and Western Maryland) I am working on. Also I would like to make some trees and plant them on the passenger station diorama.
I'm heading to the basement to complete the first loop of my 12' x 22' layout. To do this though I'm traveling 1,100 miles from Florida to my brothers house in Michigan.
Hoping to finally finish decalling a few N-Scale™©® Precision Masters 3-bay covered hoppers (PS2-CD 4750 and FMC 4700 types) in BN I painted some time back and I'm fiddling with lumber load wrappers for MTL 54000-series Bulkhead Flats.
I am planning to finish "pouring concrete" for my Willow Springs Intermodal Terminal. Hopefully I'll finish by Sunday and be able to post a few pictures.
I’ll be building a retaining wall… Wait, that’s 1:1 in my back yard. I guess that will wipe out any modeling plans from my weekend!
OK, for me, just about time to start laying the track along the outside loop. I am taking my Atlas Commander to the post office today, to send of to Atlas for repairs. Does this count... Hoping to finish most of my new train site too so I can start posting info about the layout...
I am going to install my backdrop in my island, and lay some track. It is killing me not to run any of equipment. Earlier this week, I glued down some 3/4" pink foam. But before i did, I painted the foam that ground color I am using. Well adios fer now, Wyatt
I have six N scale RS-2's that need Digitrax decoders and MT #2004 couplers. I just finished installing the decoders and am now working on the coupler change over..
Was going to paint some stripped engine shells, but my stripper is too weak. Probably going dead from prior use. I may get to it Monday. Will try again tomorrow.
