I have 2 peices of pink fom insulation, each one is 2' x 4'. What do I use to glue them end-to-end to make a 4' x 4' surface. I've tried Elmers wood glue, but that didn't work. Also, what do I use to glue the foam to plywood?
Hmm... How about rubber cement to glue the foamboard to the plywood? (not sure if that will melt the foam or not..) If you want to try, I would test it on a small piece of foam just to be sure.

I use liquid nails for projects, comes in a tube or in a calking type dispenser, I've used it on foam to foam and foam to wood and it works great
I also used Liquid Nails for Projects and was quite happy with it. Make sure you get Liquid Nails for Projects and not Liquid Nails. The Liquid Nails will eat foam. Check the label when you buy. The correct one will have foam listed.
A hot glue gun (low temp version) will stick it fine without destroying your foam.... Make sure before you try it on the 'real thinhg' though, because some guns 'low temp' isnt, really, low at all.... I've used a low temp glue gun for, heck, just about everything to do with my foam subroadbed.
