Hey There, I've bought an old Bachmann 2-8-0(not the spectrum) at a train show a few years back and a ran for about a day and it pretty much fell apart. It needs new gears, new rods and valve gear, possibly new drivers, new motor, and well the list goes on and on. Does anybody know were I can get replacement parts to fix it?
Bachmann may carry a limited life warranty for $15.00 Send your $ & engine back. You may get a replacement. Check out the www.bachmanntrains.com [ April 13, 2005, 02:53 PM: Message edited by: locomotive2 ]

The old reading I-10 consolidation isn't available anymore. About ten years ago the dies blew up while they were doing a run. If you want a relacement go ebay. they're available frequently as well as a 2-8-2 and a 0-8-0 version with no prototype.
