Here are a couple of Shots from my recent to see UP and the Blues. Sorry about my poor editing ablity as I have yet to figure out how to get a 9Meg picture down to under 100k. Hope you like them as I had a great time. The first shot was taken from the road going up Hilgard Canyon if you want to call it a road. More like a goat trail if you ask me. The second shot was taken while I was sitting on a ledge about 100ft above the tracks.
Michael, I took the liberty of reposting those pics, to lareger size. They sure look good! The Blues are a sweet place to railfan, and gorgeous, too. Thanks for sharing! Got any more?
Thanks Hemiadda2d for putting up the bigger photos. This area is really awsome and I will be back this was my second trip to the Blues for Railfanning here are some more shots as requested. The first is of a Stack train this is from my first trip and it was rainning lightly. The next two pictures are from my last trip this past weekend. One of the cool things about the Blues is the use of DPU's. This time I did not catch any but did catch one train with 6 units up front which was just about as cool. As you can tell the exhaust is standing straight up. Hope you all like the pictures as much as I do. BN6480
