Anybody know how many GP38's Conrail rostered and their road numbers? I see Atlas is supposedly going to produce GP38's in N scale and wonder if they'll do a CR run...? Harold
Conrail had quite a few, 7800 series rings a bell - will check it out when I go back to work in the am.

Scrounging around the 'net, I found pictures of ex-CR GP38's (all retired) on the CSX Photo Archives site. I think some or all of these GP38's may have gone to EMD/LLPX in the big trade that brought more modern power to CSX. Harold
CSX recently reptd. some of the ex. CR GP38-2s. 2741,47&80 + GP40-2 4408 are used as yd. power @ Niagara Falls NY. Also in CSX pt is ex CR SD38-2 2463 used on the hump @ Frontier yd. in Buffalo. Photos of these can be seen @ www.trainweb.org/csxphotos/. Click on the 3/23 latest additions. Don
