I decided that, once the fences were done, I needed to add some details to the layout, so I dug out a bunch of boxes, barrels, sacks, telegraph poles, figures and other assorted 'bits' and got painting. I planted them all yesterday and added some more trees, bushes and weeds to the whole layout for good measure. Here's the progress. Jon
Awesome work! I aspire to have that much talent. I guess i need some time and patience first! Keep the pictures coming. It helps us in the planning stage to create our layout!

Jon, Nice shots as always. I was wondering if your track was handlaid, or if not, what brand it is and what code? Your trackwork looks very delicate and to scale. Did you do some special weathering on it? Thanks for posting new images.
Jon, You always seem to amaze me. Between you and Coaltrain and your modeling has made me up my standards. Good work and keep those photos coming! John D.
I'm a fan of american freight trains, early diesel era, switching layouts (but not puzzles) and the way you the British can make the most of limited space. You Jon blended all these together with very good modelling work and the result is an AMAZING small layout. What more can I say? Fantastic!!!
