You guys will all be bouncing checks or upping the limit on those credit cards after you see this: http://www.luigirist.com/monroe2006/monroe2006cd.mov
Also didn't work for me either. Weather I save it or play it online, I can hear sound, but no picture.
Download the latest Version of Apple Quick Time (the link is right under the video link). It's working for me. BTW my AC-12 is a very smooth runner and a incredible nice locomotive.
Jeff, I have been trying to open this file all morning but no luck. none of my home or work PC support this Codec. Quicktime does not even have CODEC for this version. What are you using to play this file? Kim
Never mind I got it to work by reinstalling Quicktime. It is nice, real nice. Slower speed and closeup would have been even better.
I did get it to work once I updated quicktime. I don't get many .mov files, is there any way to go full screen? The videos play so small in the middle.
I saved the file to my computer then played it. I use the "Quicktime Alternative" with Media Player Classic to play and resize the video. They also have the "Real Alternative" codec available. No Addware, Malware, or Spyware, and no filling out forms or other info needed to download and install. Google it.
Ah PC's and file incompatability. Nothing like sinking your ship just for the sheer joy of watching that money hole run around. I watched it again while I held my wallet in my pocket. Almost made it out.
I posted this on the N-Scale with other pics from Monroe. I was thinking maybe I would post it here for those that don't look at the N side. I don't do SP, but watching this run was a real kick! Enjoy!
I updated my Quicktime at home, and I still had no luck. I got sound, but no picture. :computer: And I can't even THINK about trying at the office. We're pretty well locked down here, as far as installing outside software. Hopefully I can work on it again tonight. Any ideas?
The download didn't work for me some hours ago, I just tried it again and now with succes! I have the new Quicktime player and I have no problems playing the video That locomotive runs so nice! You cannot tell which wheels are free-running and which are powered. Just what I expected from AZL
Thanks for sharing Greg, I did read that thread yesterday and seen all your photo's from the Monroe show, and wanted to reply but kept getting trumped by the boss at work. He spends more time looking at my computer than his own, as I always have great pictures to look at.:shade: -Robert
