"Cowcatcher Roundup".........is that an NMRA Lone Star Region publication? I don't believe I've ever heard if it, and I've lived in NE and N. Texas off and on since 1989. How does one get this? Feel free to PM me if you like. A resident of Sherman
Cowcatcher Round Up The Cowcatcher Round Up is the official publication of the Cowcatcher Division of the Lone Star Region/NMRA .... HOWEVER, it has evolved into a general interest publication for model railroaders and rail enthusiasts in the North Texas area - it's not just gab about the NMRA. The publication is a little different than the normal model railroad rags; the Round Up talks about people and places and events, not just models. It's profressionally written and edited. I am expanding content and circulation to include more of Texas while touching on Oklahoma and Louisiana. It's published bi-monthly and has been around for three years and is available by subscription ($9.95 per year). Limited free copies are available at hobby shops in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and railroading points of interest (Age of Steam Museum, Grapevine Vintage Railroad), and they go fast. Copies also are now available at select hobby shops in Greenville, Longview, Houston, San Antonio and Cedar Park, TX (Austin area). The Sept-Oct issue hit the streets Labor Day Weekend. Thanks for your interest! Tim
