Here is a C&O Geep in a foreign setting. This one is from Commerce, TEXAS where the C&O Geep is switching out a train for the Cotton Belt Photo of the Pine Street Crossing September 1972.
Yes it was leased to Cotton Belt. I rode C&O GP30 #3019 from Commerce to Greenville and back on the Dodger (local). The Cotton Belt had many GP30 and GP35s plus B&O GP30 and GP35s leased back in 1972-1973 time frame. Freight traffic on the Cotton Belt and Espee was booming and all power was needed. Commerce, TEXAS Engine Service with train #17s power September 1972.
