I've come not to bury Kato, but to offer praise..

I recently made the mistake of breaking a part of my BNSF MaxiStack cars that makes them work. I'm talking about the little do-hicky pin that fits ontop of the truck so the car will articulate. So here I am with a bum set of stacks..

I called Kato, spoke with Dee, sent the set back (It was the BNSF #2 set, the one that's really hard to get I guess) with a note that I could live with TTX instead, and got my replacement set back just the other day.

So a little praise for Kato and pretty good customer service.

So who thinks that some serious JB Hunt 53's would look good on these?

As a fellow Maxi-IV breakee, this is great news!!! I was waiting for them to update the spare parts page on their website so I knew what my options were, but it's great if they'll replace it though.

Not that I like the idea of sending it back to the USA....

I agree on the Hunts though ;-)

I agree about Kato. Have only had one instance involving the newer Mikados with the innate problem with the white LED. Was repaired and returned very promptly.

Actually have never had a problem with service by any manufacturer on an item worth troubling them about.

I agree with you, I had dropped from a great height an SD40 original and had a broken truck I emailed Kato for a replacement and to cover the S&H ordered a a few consumables.
Within 5 days thet had crossed the pond and been delivered by our Royal Mail.
Well done Kato, USPS and RM
