Just went to e-Bay to look for some goodies, but I cant seem to get onto the Model RR category? Anyone else have this problem? I hit browse than toys & Hobbies that Model RRing and I get sent back to the main list of categorys. What the heck?? Anyone else have this problem?
I don't use the "Category" feature so I don't know if that's normal or not. I did a quick search on "delaware hudson" and found over three pages including Item #5910266483 which is listed to be under "Model Rr, Trains" and yet and yet that "Category" shows nothing posted under it except "eBay Moters" If I click on any of those "Category" links I still don't get to the item even though it's listed under them.
Dave, My saved link to all N-scale eBay auctions just changed. It worked just fine earlier this morning, but it now links to an "All Category" page!
I had the same problem as Bruce-in-MA. I started off in HOME and went through the whole Toys-hobbies, trains, Etc. routine and saved it as a new link. Seems to work again. Some propeller head must have been improving their software - again. Bad Hugo
They seem to be in an "upgrade" phase. Earlier I had similar problems but just went into my bookmarked N-scale cataegory and both it and My eBay were fine. Who knows about 5 minutes from now.
Same here... I find their user interface to be increasingly annoying. Anyone else notice: - when you scroll through a catagory, each page you get get a randomly large number of the items from the PREVIOUS page at the top. So to scroll through 10 pages of stuff, you need to see 20 pages. - Store Inventory is listed separately in searches, forcing you to click multiple times to get to them. They are NOT making it easy.
I just got "Search and Browse categories are temporarily unavailable". when I tried to access the N scale category. Was able to get "My eBay" though. They continue to make eBay less and less convenient. But, I still find an occasional bargain. They do get hacked on occasion. They're an awfully tempting target.
From their System Announcement Board: ***Browse Issues*** Date: 07/20/04 Time: 08:59:44 AM PDT Some members may be receiving intermittent errors when using Browse. We are aware of the problem and are working to correct it. Please note that the ability to use Search is not affected. Regards, eBay
Just went back in about 10 minutesa ago and my bookmarked entry gave me same message BUT my eBay was fine. Agreed they are a tempting target.
Well. They finally posted something. As a regular seller, I agree that they aren't getting any easier to use. Too many duplicate type functions. Too many hoops to jump through. Boxcab E50
WHEW!!! You guys had me worried, I'm bidding on several items that end tonight. And getting ready to list some items soon also. eBay is working now. You can say what you want, but there is NO better auction site that eBay. Will NEVER bid/buy/sell on YAHOO! Auction again. Some a**wipe tried to pull a quick one on me two weeks ago, and I caught him at it. YAHOO! acted like they could care less, and the dummy tried to make out like I was the one in the wrong! On eBay I'm the flatcar, on Trainboard I'm porkypine52 Hang in There It Only Gets Better? MARK
Actually working fine for me now. I did an update on my Norton antivirus, restarted the computer and from then on it worked! Couldn't have been anything to do with that, surely
