Scale test car, found parked in Longmont, many years ago. Real difficult paint scheme! Not sure of roadname though, other than private owner.
WWBX scale car Not really a private owner, Keith, but rather a consortium of the Western railroads operating as The Western Weighing & Inspection Bureau, which certified scales maintained by shippers but used for railroad billing purposes. Since WWIBX would be a five alpha mark, not permitted by the AAR, they used WWBX. There was a Southern Weighing & Inspection Bureau and an Eastern Weighing & Inspection Bureau as well, but I do not believe they had scale cars, each road used its own. :cat:
