I was wondering about the Nebkota and its history. what units did, do they have and what exactly did the paint look like on the F7's that they had. I read they sold them to the Canadian Pacific.
Believe I have also heard something recently, that Nebkota had filed to abandon part of their trackage. Boxcab E50
Well, not really. When they acquired it from the C&NW, it had been run into the ground for years. Shippers lost. Recovery from such a condition requires time, and a major capital investment. The latter rarely happens. Boxcab E50
According to this FP7s and they did go to CP. http://www.trainweb.org/galt-stn/cproster/locomotive/1400s/nri55.htm Here is a picture with the B unit. http://rogerwld.railfan.net/trains/neb55.htm
Thanks Jeff, That's what I was looking for! Was thinking of getting some IM F7's and making them Nebkota. Make that a FP7 FP9 F7B, no F9 as of now from IM.
