I got the satisfaction of knowing that my wife, four children, one granddaughter, and mother all enjoyed what I got them for Christmas. In my granddaughter's case, I satisfied her Elmo jones (much to the delight of her mother and grandmother, a/k/a my ex-wife, who was even complimentary on my choices of gifts. Miracles still happen in this world! :D :D) As long as everybody else was happy, I was happy.

Oh yeah, got a laptop computer (which was all Santa left me under the tree, but that was more than enough :D :D)

And a few days with my family over the holidays- the major travel hassles to & from Portland were worth it.

I got an MP3 player that I'll use when I'm at the gym, so I don't have to listen to that garbage that passes for music these days...
I also got a MRL dvd, and some PJ's.
The best was a couple prints we got this spring, framed professionally. The shop called Christmas eve, saying they were ready! I hadn't expected them to be done till after the New Year. Surprise! They are stunning.

I got the F3 A/B Unit Monon in the Proto 1000, also a scale miniature of City Hall in the city I'm modeling, clothes, cold soldering iron, a cool train puzzle and money to use at my discretion which I used to purchase an RS2 with. The best of all was that everyone was well and able to enjoy each other at Christmas. Also the fact that we were awarded with traveling mercy as we have to travel about 12 hours each holiday, these last 2 things are which I am most thankful for....

Well seen as i own nearly everything chessie i got a proto fa2/fb2 in alco/ge demonstrator colors and a fairbanks morse c-liner in canadian loco works demo colors. For reading material, a color guide to chessie freight equipment not a bad week as the mailman has already delivered a g scale csx caboose, a proto b&o fa2 and an atlas csx mp15dc!
now i have to work second shift new years eve to pay for it, still the railroad is paying me 2 and a quarter times my hourly rate so its well worth it!
