I just looked at my post counter and realized I have babbled on train board for nearly 3000 posts. What a waste. All that time I could've been building my layout.
Geek, Congrats on almost reaching 3000 pots I will question is it a real waste but more of a learning experience , this coming from someone who has just past 9000 posts
Yes Paul, but for someone who can talk under water with a mouthful of marbles I don't think the question of it being a learning experience needs be asked... (all in jest )
not a waste It's not a waste if you enjoy it or you enlighten others and with 3000 almost post just think how much enlightenment you have brought others. Carry on. :shade:
It's just another branch of armchair modelling. If you enjoy it, and it doesn't harm or annoy anyone else, don't be ashamed.
That's the way I look at it too. I'm thinking of changing my "favorite scale" to "PC". Regards Ed (who may not babble as much as Geeky, but who probably wastes more time on forums....)
Certainly not a waste of time. I have not been as active on here in the past as I have been the last year or so. You are about two thousand posts ahead of me and I have been a member here since 2000. I for one have enjoyed your posts especially in the layout design forum. Keep on posting!!

I think now I feel better. I'm just a diletante compared to you guys. I guess if Ed's gonna be a Pc modeller, then with my Mac I'll be a macmodeller, or a Imod, or a Itrain.
With my job, being far from home, being on Trainboard helps the off-time go by. Unless, of course, I'm out railfanning..... And I'm just a piker compared to, oh, say, Ken.........
