I am thinking about doing the unthinkable and Pre-ordering the UP Heritage scheme SD70 ACe's. Does anyone know who is taking them and how much the advanced reservations are? I see that they list at 665.00 each on Overlands website and didn't know if there is a discount like on all other Nscale stuff? I am wanting all the Heritage and also the George Bush loco.
Nscalesupply is listing them as "taking reservations", at with a decent discount down to $560. They've been the only ones I've seen. I was interested in a (gulp!) CNW version, but probably not as I can't really find a place for it. Only on a mantle, and a bit too small for that. Maybe the O scale version? Uh, yeah right! Oh wow I don't know if I like them that much. That's one heck of a price tag for engines But I don't know if I want to bargain with them being done in plastic. I still want a set of the Olympic Scheme SD70M's that Overland did that neveer came out in plastic.....
