American Z Line is excited to announce the preproduction run of EMD GP7s. The first roadnames to be released are Pennsylvania and Union Pacific. The locomotives feature a 8mm Faulhauber can motor, dual flywheels, traction tire, LED directional controlled lighting, prototype specific details, optional body mount couplers with pilots and come DCC ready. The preproduction run is limited. Only one roadnumber is available for each roadname. The Pennsylvania is item 6204, roadnumber 8557. The UP is item 6205, roadnumber 102. Additional roadnumbers and roadnames will be offered in future runs. Ztrack Magazine subscribers are entitled to purchase the PRR and UP GP7 direct. With the PRR antenna and UP winter hatch, I wonder if I should wait for one of the next roadnames. Less holes to fill the better. They do look nice!
