Someone likely will pay that much. I hope they never do any research on the prototype. Or at least I hope they don't care about accuracy.

 

These have been on there for a while. I would be suprised if anyone paid thet price. They have a few other sets at that price. A few hundred bucks .... Maybe, but a grand... good luck. I agre if they get it then I would sell mine for half that price!!!

I love the fact they want a grand, but in their describtion state they are not train experts.

 

It's just a sign of the times. Look at what some rare art has been fetching in the past year. It's a sign that a big decline is just around the corner, so, if you have visions of funding your retirement on the sale of old ConCor sets, now is the time to do it. ;=}
