I was coming back from lunch yesterday when I saw this train heading over a bridge I was driving under. I noticed that it had stopped, so I turned around and found the front end and took these pictures:
And... While taking the pictures, the engineer came over and asked if I wanted the following document: I said yes, of course.
That was good luck on your part! The train was headed south out of the CSX "Cedar Yard" and the bridge you saw was over Capital Blvd. (That used to be double track, now single ) The train is headed for "Southern Junction" which is controlled by CSX but has tracks entering by NS. It is an interesting interchange. Harold
