saskatchewan grain hoppers

just received this pictures from my buddy nscalesteve (aka steve4). seems like he's the first to offer these cars on ebay

all painting, decal design and that kind of stuff done by steve.

I'd buy one but the hatches are wrong, why go to all that effort to do a great job of painting only to over look a major detail like that. Steve should work for Atlas or another company because they do that all the time too.

Leave it to Steve to be the first on the block with the new stuff. He's always "the man" when it comes to doing custom stuff before anyone else and does it better than about anyone. Steve, now how about one of those new KCS SD70's???

58.00 and counting. I'll have to wait for the Intermountain release unless Steve's selling decal sets for less.

 

Do you guys know if Steve will be making more of these? Oh well, I'll bid on it anyway...

 

Is the correct car available? Steve does some pretty damned good work IMHO, much better than some of the other painters out there ..

 

"lord-of-the-trainz" has done a nice custom job replicating the new Saskatchewan grain car paint scheme. He apparently made the decals on an Alps printer and custom mixed the paint colour.

The current bid as I write this is 69.05 . The auction is item number 190102368037.

If the current bid price is a little steep for you as it is for me Intermountain will likely produce this paint scheme in the not so distant future.

 

Well, the auction concluded and the custom painted new scheme Saskatchewan Grain Car sold for 71.05 and will find a home in Canada.
