Listening on the scanner in Montgomery, AL, I frequently hear trains being asked to stop at North Fairgrounds. Where is that and on what line? The line closest to the Alabama National Fairgrounds is little used (and a dead-end). Thanks.
I don't know which subdivision. That's part of the puzzle. The controller seems to follow up with track warrants involving Bell Street which also is baffling. Maybe there's more traffic on the ex-Eufaula line that dead-ends at Cecil than I thought.
