    Yeah!!!

I wonder why only "DCC Friendly" and not "DCC Plug-N-Play"?

    Other than that, yeah!!!

All of Kato's PnP locos are described as "DCC Friendly." Let's hope it holds true with this one.

My first question was "where's the sound?" [IMG]

I'm going to need a bigger layout.
I'm going to need a bigger house.

I think I just switched road names.

Mine too, get with the times Kato, Athearn and even Life-Like!!?? are stealing your thunder here. This might be Kato's Japanese head office doing the thinking, DCC's not very big over there.

This might be a job for the newly announced, smaller size Tsunami, the heavy steam version has GS4 sounds.

I think I just grew more and more sick of the Western Bias in N-scale.

    Holy siderods Batman!

I might have to rethink my focus on intermodal trains...

That's funny. I frequently feel like every locomotive I want is only available in Midwest of East Coast roads. Maybe that's because the other modelers here mob all the GN, NP, SP&S, SP, etc., stuff before I get to the shop.

    :teeth:

I am quite happy to see the 4449 getting a good release. That same engine runs on my prototype road frequently for excursion service, steam-ups, etc. It will be fun to have a sub-$200 yet solid model on my layout.

I would love to see that big Pere Marquette locomotive get released. That one would be a MTL dream since it is the one that the Polar Express was modeled upon, if I am not mistaken. They could release all sorts of fantasy cars.
