Thanks Lloyd, never seem to be able to pull off the look I'm looking for when weathering, more practice I guess. It does look pretty good buzzin around the layout.

Inasmuch as those Rio Grande units look great, I like the Utah Railway engines better. Nice work!

    Ditto that!
    Are the MP15's protolanced? ;)
    Those SD's look great!
Surprised I am, that you neglected to do the small lettering on one or two of the SD45's...
    You did a fantastic job!
N Scale Supply special D&RGW decals?

The Utah Railways are Kato SD40. I filled in the rachet brake handle on the short hood and put brake wheels on the back of the long hoods.
Yes the URR look good as I actually got around to putting some weathering on them. When I have some time I will start adding weathering to my 20+ SD40T-2, 8 SD45, 6 SD50, 8 GP40,3 MP15 (just to start with my DRGW units)

Yes the Decals for the Rio Grande are N -Scale supply decals. I have one Kato SD45 in small lettering and I for some reason just like the large lettering better. So I pick the road numbers that received the larger lettering.

The MP15 yes are Protolance. When Atlas came out with them I thought well why not since there is not a true SW1000 out that is that looks like the DRGW SW1000s

I was just thinking "Since when did the Rio Grande have MP15s?" I was about to go and check some diesel production statistics. That's how convinced I was - for a moment.

Well, if Rio Grande DID have MP15s, I'm sure they'd look just like the models you did. Nicely done!

    Remember:

I'll be in Lincoln, NH over Labor Day weekend and part of the following week. Do you know of any railfan areas? We might be willing to drive a couple of hours.
    Thanks!

    Love the models. Nicely done.
