FANNOCREEK DESIGNS has released its first laser cut structure kit; The Lake City House. Designed specifically for z-scale, the kit consists of precision laser cut parts of micro-plywood, cardstock, and plastic. Illustrated instructions and many peel-and-stick parts ease assembly.

This simple house would look great in any working-class, North American neighborhood, from the late 1800’s to the present day. The prototype is based on the small houses that would spring up in the mining districts of Colorado, although its simplicity means it would fit in almost anywhere. See pictures below.

Loren Snyder will shortly have these in hand and they will be ready for immediate shipment.

Each kit is $16.95. The kits can be shipped anywhere in the world but contact Loren for out of US Shipping.

Loren is the exclusive distributor and he can be reached at ljsnyder@charter.net

Fannocreek has additional kits in the pipeline; they will be announced as released.

    Thanks Robert!

Not just for your compliment, but for keeping me inspired with all the great stuff you do. I never even thought about getting a laser until I saw your creations here on trainboard. Like you, I just want to see more z-scale items available, it’s not a complicated kit, but if I can give a little back I’m happy.

    Jason,
We have seen the your houses you built, when Loren bought them over here for a train meet, we were going Oooh and Aaah over it and ... How did he do ..... There were just the best we had ever seen. Hope you will have them all for sale soon.

    Hey Kim,

That’s funny, I ooh and ahh all the time when I see your stuff. Loren showed me the little logging caboose you made for him, not to mention all the other amazing things you post about here. The stuff that really blows my mind is your animated projects, truly fantastic. I wouldn’t even know where to begin.

As far as more kits go, doing this part time is tough, but hopefully a few of those designs will eventually see the light of day.

    Jason
