I was thinking the same thing. I have been through your site Jerry so many times recently. You are the only site with multiple pictures of the different Erie and DL&W pullman cars. Everything is easy to find and browse through. I used to go to Fallen Flags site first but not since I found your site.

I was thinking of those two cars that Jerry showed. They are pretty close to the MT RPO. The cool thing is that those cars are shown in the grey/maroon/yellow paint. The 1807's maroon strip doesn't line up with the maroon stripe on the pullman next to it. That is interesting.

After doing around 16 passenger cars I am starting to get good at laying down those thin yellow stripes. By the time I get to doing the tavern lounge car I should really be good at it.

Thanks for the compliments. I start feeling like a puppy mill after a while turning out car after car. It is really cool when you see them all sitting there together though.

Jerry, is Lazer Horizons still doing their sides? I had heard that they shut down production due to some machinery breaking or something to that effect. It would be great to still be able to get sides from them.

Here is a little something different from the streamlined lightweight equipment. I painted a few of the MicroTrains Pullman 10-1-2 sleepers. Fortunately, the DL&W and Erie both had the 10-1-2 sleeper in this particular plan. I added American Limited operating diaphragms, moved the couplers in for closer coupling, added wire grab irons and added Fox Valley Models wheels. The cars are really nice and a pleasure to work on. I have a few more Pullmans to do as the DL&W had 28-1 Parlor cars, the Juliet Ward Howe, Virginia Dare and Elizabeth Browning. I will have to start them soon. I just finished up two more of the round roof baggage cars.

"Jerry, is Lazer Horizons still doing their sides?"

If the dealer is to be believed he still is. The page is dated 2007 - 2010. I don't believe that they would be solicitating orders if it weren't the case.

    Scott,

Where did you get the "LAKE WORTH" decals? I plan to paint mine up in Erie, but in the earlier paint.

    Chris:
I had to piece the worth together from other decal sets I had. I can't remember which ones I used but I know it was a pain in that butt.

Thanks Jerry. Couldn't have done any of this without our passenger car photo index.

I had to make some room in my shop, so I got this out tonight.
    I know, It's a foobie.
Lackawanna didn't have any modern RPOs, but after looking at this car, and checking resources, it could have happened.
Anyway if the DL&W did decide to get some new RPOs for their new Phoebe Snow, They would have (maybe) gone to ACF for a few of these cars.
    Now back to the coaches...
